Meet Jay Tarno, CFP®

Jay Tarno has been a working in the Financial Services industry since 2008. Currently, he holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Cornerstone Planning Group, where he specializes in investment analysis and operational management. In his role, Jay focuses on developing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive the firm's growth and enhance its service offerings.

 

As a member of Cornerstone’s Investment Board, Jay oversees the due diligence and analytical processes that are essential to managing client assets. His leadership in this capacity underscores his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of fiduciary responsibility and investment performance.

Jay's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from Quinnipiac University, where he graduated with honors. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) practitioner.

In addition to his professional achievements, Jay is dedicated to his family life. He is a devoted husband and father to two young sons, with whom he enjoys spending quality time. A life-long golfer, Jay remains passionate about the sport and takes every opportunity to hit the links.
